About this track.
Fallin' is about the cycles we can't break — the loops the mind runs in at thirty thousand feet, the illusion of control, the dragon you keep chasing because chasing feels like motion.
It's the darkest moment in the Sunset Gold EP, and the most honest. The chorus is built like a fall: it returns, it returns, it returns. The chains in the painting are not a parachute. They're what we mistake for one until we look up.
